InDesign Task - Chickens

Initial thoughts;
For my InDesign brief I had to research into chickens, this is so that I can find out what I wanted to do my double page spread on. When I first got a chicken I thought that I would research them so that I would become an expert on them, so that my article would be professional and very informed. I started by typing in 'Chickens' into google, and I found a few website to look.

Websites;

http://www.yourchickens.co.uk/gallery/your_chickens_gallery_7_7272?id=2&storyId=1
This website has a lot of information on it about chickens, it shows many different types of chickens and how they are looked after. This website also had a lot of responses on it from chicken owners, telling other people how they can manage chickens and good tips for them.

This was based more on back yard chickens, but its also had a lot of information on it about what you can do with these certain chickens. It also had a lot of pictures on it in a gallery, these pictures have been sent in from people who own chickens, of them and their chickens. This website wasn't as helpful as the other, as although it was more specific I already had a lot of the information from the other website.

Wikipedias idea of what chickens are and what they do, this didn't help me a lot either.

I thought that I would start to research into Easter chickens as it is close to Easter therefore would be relevant, although everything I found was cartoon and looked quite childish, therefore if I was to do something to do with Easter I will make it directed towards children.

 I also decided to look at images of Easter chicken's and chicken's in general, I did this just to see if I could collect some images, or to get some ideas of what I could do with my double page spread.
